Answer:
Short answer: fast enough.

Our connection is a real 2Megs/1Meg (Download/Upload) international connection speed through cable; not one shared with 100+ users.
That sure is not as fast as what you have in your country, but :
- in Thailand, Internet access is a lot more expensive for a quality connection
- it is fast enough for normal usage: browsing, email and regular stuff.

We've had several tenants in the past who depended on our Internet connection to stay in touch with their office or actually work remotely, and they were all satisfied with our connection.

But our connection speed being limited, we cannot allow:
- movies downloads (it's illegal anyways !),
- any kind of server FTP, HTTP, file sharing with peer to peer, bug infested softwares like eMule, etc...
